Dayana Vincent
Director: Fourth Wave Foundation:
As Founder, Director, I have been working closely on issues of social inclusion and the rights of children and young adults and education of children with disabilities. I started Fourth Wave Foundation. I have a Masters in HR, Advanced Management Program in Corporate Social Responsibility from Swedish Institute Stockholm, Sweden.
– Hosted the Asia Regional Forum Against Drugs with United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime UNODC, World Federation Against Drugs and the National Institute of Social Development in 2019 bringing 32 countries together in Kerala to work on reviewing policy documents related to Child Rights and Article 33.
– Project VENDA©’s outcome study on drug prevalence in Children and Youth was presented at the 61st Session, Congressional of the Commission of Narcotics and Drugs at the United Nations in Vienna on the topic ‘Responsible Communities as Insulators a case study on drugs and the future of youth and children’
– Project VENDA was featured in ‘Working Together -Drugs and the Sustainable Development Goals’ best practices in addressing the world drug problem in the frame work of the UNGASS outcome document and Sustainable Development Goals.
– Part of the working group team of the Drug Policy Future Report- titled “Zooming in on UNGASS” monitoring of UN Member States’ follow-up of the UNGASS outcome document (2016)
– Paper presentation at the Women Without Boarders, Vienna on gender issues and barriers to access for care and treatment.
– Board member representing Asia for the World Federation Against Drugs and part of the Gender working group of WFAD.
– Developed the Asia Pacific Common Position Paper as working group member of the Vienna NGO committee.
Presented strategy paper for ‘Inclusive Education and need for Exchange of Best Practices in the area of Assistive Technology’ was presented at Center on Disabilities-California State University, Northridge and at the International Conference on Higher Education and Disability, University of New Orleans and University of Innsbruck, Austria.
Was featured in The Femina - Changing Lives’ and on the Amir Khan Productions: Satya Meva Jayate.
