My organisation

EnAble India is a not-for-profit organization working for economic independence and dignity of persons with disability (PwDs) since 1999, impacting thousands of PwDs and stakeholders. Considered to be a pioneer in employability and employment of persons with disability, EnAble India has catered to the needs of 19 disabilities thus far. We have impacted 325,000+ individuals including persons with disabilities and their families in 28 states and 7 union territories in India. In the past 21 years, EnAble India has collaborated with 786 companies and 229 partner organizations across 1343 locations in over 185 countries. We have opened up 402 job roles across 34 sectors. We have built more than12 models and frameworks to train employable persons with disability, and includable leaders capable of leading the change. In fact, EnAble India’s models and content are used across many organizations not only in India but also in Africa, Asia, Europe, and America.

About me

As a visionary leader and Global Strategist in the disability and accessibility space, I drive large-scale international collaborations and innovative technology initiatives for EnAble India. My expertise lies at the intersection of global policy, innovation, and technology: International Leadership: I manage key projects like the Disabilities Innovative Solutions Hub (DISH) and lead program design for high-profile global events, including the UN COSP Program in New York. Tech for Good: I manage high-impact accessibility collaborations with major partners like Google (e.g., GPay accessibility, Lookout app) and serve as an Ambassador and Board Member for Equitable AI with the Zero Project, ensuring persons with disabilities are integrated into global AI discussions. Ecosystem Building: I actively mentor start-ups, scale assistive solutions globally, and champion grassroots innovation through programs like the Discovery Awards. Advocacy & Policy: My foundation is built on deep policy work, including contributing to the drafting of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act. I am committed to fostering an inclusive world through strategic partnerships and accessible technology, leveraging over 15 years of experience in the sector.
