Hunny Bhagchandani

I, Hunny Bhagchandani, Founder of TorchIt, dedicated to social innovation, inclusion and empowering Persons with Disabilities (PwD) with the essence of independence. Raised in a progressive Sindhi business family in Ahmedabad, I cultivated compassion while instilling the importance of sustainability in all endeavours. My academic journey includes a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering from Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), India.

My commitment to innovation led me to a Leadership Innovation fellowship at the Royal Academy of Engineering, UK, and a fellowship at Enabling Toys, MIT Media Lab, US. TorchIt embodies my vision to provide the Differently Abled community with innovative products, enabling independent and dignified lives.

Featured on Shark Tank India, I've been blessed with numerous accolades, notably the National Award from the President of India, recognizing our affordable and inventive solutions for PwDs. My mission remains steadfast: to continue creating impactful solutions for a more inclusive world.

I also spearhead the TorchIt Foundation, driving initiatives to foster inclusivity and accessibility. Additionally, in Enablemart, we endeavour to provide a comprehensive range of assistive solutions, ensuring empowerment and accessibility for all.
