Andreas ONEA

Andreas Onea is Austria's most successful para swimmer. He has competed at five Paralympic Games and won twelve international medals, including bronze in Rio 2016. He lost his left arm in a car accident at the age of six, and today he is a living example of inclusion in sport, on television and on stage. He works as a presenter for Austria's public broadcaster ORF and captivates audiences as a keynote speaker on resilience and motivation, drawing on the mindset sport has taught him: he encourages people to keep pursuing their goals and to find new ways forward after setbacks. He has spoken for companies including Visa, Coca-Cola, adidas, Mondelez and Johnson & Johnson and on stages from London and Lisbon to Istanbul and Tokyo. He chairs the Board of Trustees of Light for the World International and lives near Vienna with his wife and their three sons.
