About me

Jessica Mendes: self-advocate and advisory counselor at Escola de Gente. Jessica Mendes is 31 years old, has a degree in photography from the IESB Institute, Brasília, and has worked for ten years as a photographer at the National Secretariat for the Rights of People with Disability of the Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship. She is an activist for the social inclusion of people with disability and an Accessibility Promotion Agent. In 2017, she launched the photography book “ASAS E FLORES: O Olhar Fotográfico de Jessica Mendes” (WINGS AND FLOWERS), about her photographic exhibitions.
