Margarita Bilgeri

Margarita Bilgeri (Switzerland) is Project Manager at the European Agency for Special Needs and Inclusive Education. In this position she is involved in various activities focusing on policy development and implementation in the area of inclusive education. Before working with the Agency, Margarita was Assistant Professor at the University of Vienna and later Visiting Professor at the University Koblenz-Landau. She holds a PhD and MA in Education and an MA in Global Studies. During her time at working at the university, her teaching and research focused on inclusive education, poverty, intersectionality, the capability approach and children with disabilities in the majority world context. She has published at European and international levels.
