About me
Barsha Banerjee is the Managing Director at Perkins India, Perkins School for the Blind, with over 25 years of experience in Development Management. As a corporate crossover, she brings a wealth of expertise from the corporate world to the social sector.
Perkins India is a non-profit social impact organization dedicated to making quality education accessible and inclusive for children with disabilities. Under Barsha's leadership, the organization is committed to empowering individuals with disabilities and amplifying the impact of inclusive education across India.
Barsha's work has taken her across the length and breadth of India, including remote and left-wing affected regions, as well as globally in 17 countries across the African continent.
An alumna of India Leaders for Social Sector, Barsha believes in the concept of "Ikigai" and is committed to making life meaningful by positively impacting the lives of others, both personally and professionally. Her self-authored mantra, "Life finds a way, but it’s you who needs to walk the path," reflects her philosophy and approach to life and leadership.
