About me
Gabriella Wong is the Founder of accesSOS, a nonprofit on a mission to make emergency help accessible. As a proud CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) with a deep connection to her immigrant parents' background and fluency in American Sign Language, Gabriella's personal experiences have ignited her determination to fight for equitable access to emergency services. She received her Masters in Public Health from Columbia University and is a UC Berkeley CTSP Fellow, a Camelback Fellow, Roddenberry Fellow, and has presented at DeafNation, SXSW. Additionally, she serves as the Co-Chair of NENA's Communication Modalities Group, where she champions accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Her efforts have garnered coverage from Forbes, Vox Media's NowThis, AmeriDisability, and NBC Nightly News. Gabriella has also contributed as an opinion writer to publications, including USA Today. Alongside her commitment to empowering women to take on leadership roles, she finds joy in ocean activities like open water swimming, rowing, and gravel biking.
