Gavin Drysdale

Having a physical disability has always meant accessing education is a challenge and I have a keen interest in improving opportunities for those coming after me. I am currently studying for an honours degree through the Open University specialising in politics and international relations, whilst working part-time as a Project Officer in disability sport.

In addition, I compete in the para-athletics discipline of Frame Running. I became a Double World Champion at the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships by winning the 100m in the T72 category, adding to the World Title I won over the same distance four years earlier.
