About me

Daniella is the Disability Inclusion and Accessibility Officer within the Gender and Economic Inclusion Group at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. IFC is the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector and operates in over 100 developing countries.

She spearheads disability inclusion and accessibility strategy in partnership with private sector organizations and enterprises, and works with IFC’s clients to ensure disabled people are represented as entrepreneurs, employees, consumers, community stakeholders and business leaders through IFC private sector investments. Daniella is part of the global team that is engaged in co-creating smart solutions through research, disability inclusive investments, accessible innovation, advice and peer learning platforms.

Before joining IFC, Daniella consulted for various industry leaders on universal design and accessible transport, change management, and disability policy, serving clients like Johnson and Johnson, Google, US Institute of Peace, Align Technology, FIFA, Nike, the United Nations, KFC, New York Yankees and AB InBev.

She serves as a strategic advisor to Cephable, an assistive tech software equalizing gaming, shopping, education, banking and healthcare spaces for non-verbal consumers and employees. Daniella is also an executive committee member of the Coalition of Accessible Technology (COAT), where she focuses her time to advance accessibility tech policy and emergency/disaster planning for Deaf/hard of hearing and BLV populations.

She is fluent in American Sign Language, Spanish, and Portuguese and has been published in outlets such as the World Politics Review, the Associated Press, La Vanguardia, and ImpactoLatino. She is fluent in American Sign Language, Portuguese and Spanish.
