Teaching and researching together  - for an inclusive society.

Our aim is to teach, experience and jointly develop inclusion at universities in North Germany. We raise awareness of the realities of life for people with disabilities and facilitate encounters.

In seminars, workshops, lectures and (research) projects, we offer the valuable opportunity to learn from educational specialists and create a space for inclusive encounters. Educational specialists are people with experience of disabilities who have previously worked in a sheltered workshop. The qualification was developed at the Institute for Inclusive Education. People with disabilities learn to teach and report on their own experiences in an empowering way. Education professionals are ambassadors for participation and inclusion.

In our courses, education specialists talk about their experiences of disability in very different areas of life. They report on their school experiences and formulate their wishes for inclusive teaching.

We advise, support and network people in universities, politics, administration and companies who want to work together on an inclusive future.
