About me
Vicky Tsang is a private sector development specialist, focusing on advancing gender equity, diversity, and financial inclusion in Asia and the Pacific.
Currently she is the Pacific region coordinator for the Gender and Economic Inclusion Department at the International Finance Corporation (IFC – a member of the World Bank), working with companies in the Pacific to close economic inclusion gaps by demonstrating the business case for the private sector to invest in gender equality and to build diverse and respectful workplaces.
In early 2023, Vicky led a scoping study on disability inclusion in the private sector of four Pacific countries, and is currently utilising the findings to design a project in the Solomon Islands with the aim to increase inclusion of people with disabilities by convening companies through a peer learning model.
Vicky is currently based in Australia.
My organisation
IFC – a member of the World Bank - is the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector. We improve the lives of people in developing countries by investing in private sector growth. We connect economic development with humanitarian needs to create real progress for the people and places that need it most.
