My organisation

IAAP D-A-CH is the German-speaking branch of the IAAP (International Association of Accessibility Professionals) and was founded in autumn 2020. IAAP D-A-CH consists of an advisory board, the IAAP members in the German-speaking countries of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as various working groups that focus on different topics. As a professional association, IAAP offers accessibility experts the opportunity to network and obtain certifications.

About me

Regine Gessner spent 24 years working for an International Exhibition and Conference Organizer. She managed M-Enabling Europe events in 2018 and 2019 and a virtual event in 2021. Regine was a founding member of IAAP D-A-CH in in 2023 became Program Manager of IAAP D-A-CH on behalf of the Austrian Association for the Blind and Visual Impaired.
