About

Christopher M. Lee, PhD., is a social entrepreneur, advocate, author, and public speaker in the field of disabilities and is hyper-focused on contributing positively to the greater good, giving back to society, and creating lasting social changes.  He currently serves as VP and Managing Director of the Global Initiative for Inclusive ICTs (G3ict), a non-profit advocacy and research initiative launched in 2006 by the United Nations to support the implications of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). Christopher also directs the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP), serving chapters and organizational and individual members in over 100 countries as part of his work with G3ict. Before G3ict, he founded and directed North America's largest higher education accommodations and research center, serving thousands of universities and colleges. He has been awarded and served as principal investigator on research grants. In his early years, Christopher was diagnosed with learning disabilities. He often attributed his success to what he learned in team sports, which he was ultimately named Co-Captain of the University of Georgia swim team in college. Christopher currently presides with his family in Asheville, North Carolina, in the United States.
