Estefania Mirpuri

Estefanía Mirpuri Moreno,  born in La Rioja, Spain, in 1975. In 1998 Estefanía achieved her Law Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Navarra. She also holds Master’s degrees in Small and Medium Enterprises management and in International Cooperation for Development and Management of Non-Governmental Organizations by ESNECA Business School (June 2022).

Since 1999, she has held various responsibilities, always linked to the advocacy and promotion of the rights of persons with disabilities in general, and particularly those of blind people or people with low vision. Between 2003 and 2007, she was the  Director of the Technical Office for Europeans Affairs of ONCE. There, she was part of different Work Groups of the European Blind Union and participated in international meetings and forums.

Estefanía is the General Director of FOAL since February, 2019 and more recently she has become a member of the Board of the International Development and Disability Consortium (June 2022).
