About me
Shanti is the founder of EnAble India, an international pioneering non profit organization. She is an Ashoka Fellow, Schwab Social Innovator and a speaker at the World Economic Forum. She has rich grassroots experience in disability and holds an M.S in computer science. Shanti is shifting narratives for persons with disability as active citizens, taxpayers, change makers and nation builders. Through her deep insights at a systems level, she has realized the economic potential around purple sector which can give rise to millions of jobs and businesses within India and many more across the globe. Her extensive work at grassroots levels, within companies, and at the policy level has given her a unique perspective on leadership development, leading her to introduce the concept of "Includability." This term defines the competency that leaders need to effectively work with any kind of "difference."
My organisation
Enable India is a pioneering international organization non profit organization which is unifying ecosystems to enable the path for persons with disability towards dignity, enhanced value and for a better quality of life. Enable India is a thought leader which has many models, frameworks and platforms for urban and rural open labor market employment, self employment and other forms of livelihood. The organization is working on system orchestration by amplifying the power of collectives and communities powered by open networks, AI powered solutions and enabling digital public infrastructure which will unlock population level scale.
