About

University of Arizona's Disability Resource Center ensures disability access for all members of the campus community. We promote universal design to inform the design of campus environments to reduce or eliminate the need for individual accommodations and always try to surpass minimal legal requirements in favor of inclusion.

UArizona's DRC, with its large staff and many campus partners, is uniquely positioned to approach campus access systemically. DRC works with students, employees and visitors and often consults proactively with faculty and other campus designers to promote inclusion and equity.

In addition to its access and accommodation services, DRC also hosts the largest adaptive athletics program in the U.S. With 9 sports and an adaptive fitness center, UArizona's Adaptive Athletics program recruits athletes from around the world.
