DanceAbility e.V. (Germany)

The association DanceAbility e.V. was founded in 2013 in Trier, Germany. The aim is to promote sustainability, autonomy and creativity in the field of inclusive dance. The association is offering workshops, trainings in the DanceAbility method and performance work with the „Ensemble BewegGrund Trier“.

DanceAbility, founded by Alito Alessi in 1987, is a contemporary dance practice that promotes artistic expression and movement exploration between all people, in any combination of people. The vision of DanceAbility is to dissolve barriers and connect people with and without disabilities through dance and movement.
