Samnang Pheng

My name is Mr. Samnang Pheng, I am currently the Director of Disability Development Services Program (DDSP). For more than 17 years in the field of disability inclusion and management with DDSP and with around more than 20 years with NGOs I gained and experienced both organizational management and project implementation. I also implemented, coordinated, managed and supported staffs to implement the project which had provided me rich experiences on program development inclusion, project monitoring and evaluation, financial management, fundraising, networking and coordination, fund-raising through proposal and report writing, conducting and facilitation training and, etc. I have worked in a wide range of community inclusive development through improving Inclusive Education, Community-Based Inclusive Development, gender equity, child protection, and safeguarding, involving in project research, developing regulation and policies on child and client protection, for inclusive development work. I have also been invited to provide feedback/input for the consultation meetings and workshops on the Law on Inclusive Education, the Law on the Promotion and Protection on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, National Strategic Plan on Disability and Inclusive Education…etc by Development Partners such as UNDP, AUSAID, UNICEF as well as relevant ministries; especially Ministry of Social Affair, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation and Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport.
