Almudena holds a degree in Mathematical Sciences from Universidad Complutense of Madrid. She completed her studies with an MSc in Advanced Computing at University King's College of London and a PhD in Computer Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Almudena started her professional career as a Software Programmer at ACI Worldwide in London and very soon, she felt interested for the world of cybersecurity and cyberdefense. In this field, she held Research and Lecturing positions in Cybersecurity at the following institutions: South Bank University of London, Carlos III University of Madrid, IMF Institute and European University of Madrid. Currently, she is responsible for the Research and Development Department of the Universal Accessibility Direction at ONCE Foundation.
